Where twilight meets innovation - crafting spaces that inspire
Look, we're not gonna feed you the usual lines about how we're 'revolutionizing' architecture or whatever. Truth is, we just really love what we do - designing spaces that actually work for people.
Started in Toronto back when none of us really knew what we were getting into, honestly. Three architects who met at a terrible industry conference decided they'd had enough of cookie-cutter designs and soulless corporate projects. So here we are.
We specialize in Contemporary Residential & Commercial Design, but that's just fancy talk for making buildings that don't make you want to leave immediately.
Three architects walk into a bar... no seriously, that's how it started. After one too many complaints about the state of modern architecture, we figured we'd better do something about it ourselves.
Landed our first commercial project - a boutique hotel in the Distillery District. Client took a chance on us, and we didn't sleep for three months. Worth it though, turned out pretty damn good.
Started focusing heavily on sustainable design because, well, the planet's kinda important. Turns out clients actually care about this stuff now, who knew?
Got into restoration work. There's something really special about bringing old buildings back to life while keeping what made them great in the first place.
Still figuring it out, honestly. But we've worked on over 80 projects, got a team of 15 talented folks, and we're still having fun. That's gotta count for something.
We're not into designing buildings that look good in magazines but suck to actually use. What's the point of that?
Beautiful spaces that don't work are just expensive art installations. We make sure everything has a purpose.
Every site tells a story. We listen to it instead of dropping the same design everywhere like some firms do.
Green design shouldn't break the bank or look like you're living in a science experiment. Balance is key.
You're living or working in the space, not us. So yeah, we actually want to hear your ideas throughout the process.
Principal Architect
Started this whole thing after getting fed up with corporate architecture. Loves brutalism more than he should admit and makes terrible coffee.
Design Director
The detail person who actually makes sure projects don't fall apart. Has saved us from ourselves more times than we can count. Weekend woodworker.
Sustainability Lead
The green conscience of the studio. Will debate passive solar design over lunch. Bikes to work year-round because of course he does.
Senior Architect
Interior Designer
Project Manager
Technical Lead
We're always up for new challenges, whether it's a house, an office building, or something completely different.
No project's too weird - we actually prefer the interesting ones. Give us a shout and let's figure out if we're a good fit.
